A summer in St-Germain

Ingredients

1.5 cl of St-Germain elderflower liqueur
2 cl of verjuice
2 dashes of saline solution
6 cl of Hysope Cucumber Tonic Water

Garnish

Jasmine flower
Fresh cucumber slice

Preparation

  1. First of all, prepare your salt solution: mix 20 g of salt with 80 g of warm water. Place it in a cool measuring bottle at least 15 minutes before preparing your cocktail.
  2. Fill a balloon glass with ice cubes. Stir with a barspoon to refresh the glass.
  3. Pour in 1.5 cl of St-Germain elderflower liquor, 2 cl of verjuice and 2 dashes of saline solution.
  4. Add 6 cl of Hysope Cucumber Tonic Water and stir.
  5. Garnish with a fresh jasmine flower and a fresh cucumber slice.

 

Want to make your own verjuice ?

  1. Get young and green grapes. Dry them and remove the seeds.
  2. Run your grapes through a centrifuge and strain the liquid through a tea towel.
  3. For better conservation, add some salt : 1 teaspoon for ½ liter of verjuice.
  4. Use it within 2 days !
