Ingredients

Cocktail
4 cl of Gin n°1 ADN Distillerie du Rhône
0.5 cl of flower honey
2 cl of filtered lemon juice
1.5 cl of basil cordial
5 cl of Hysope Cucumber Tonic Water

Basil cordial
60 g of basil leaves
240 g of sugar
240 ml of water

Preparation

  1. Fill an Old Fashioned glass with ice cubes.
  2. Stir with a barspoon to refresh the glass.
  3. In a shaker, add 4 cl of Gin n°1 ADN, 0.5 cl of flower honey, 2 cl of filtered lemon juice, then 1.5 cl of basil cordial*.
  4. Shake ! Using a cocktail sieve, put the mixture into the glass.
  5. Add 5 cl of Hysope Cucumber Tonic Water.
  6. Strike the basil leaves against the palm of your hand and arrange it as a garnish.

 

*Make your own basil cordial !

  1. In a pot, mix the water with the sugar. Bring the mixture to boil, then reduce the heat to keep the simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the basil leaves and stir slowly for 1 minute to coat them with syrup.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat.
  4. Let the mixture cool at ambient temperature. The basil will continue to infuse.
  5. Strain the mixture through a sieve into a glass bottle. It's ready !
