The genesis
In 2019, our founder, Mériadec Buchmüller, had a (brilliant!) idea: to create a brand of quality Premium Mixers to accompany his favorite spirits. At the time, the cocktail world was booming, but Mixers were sweet and Anglo-Saxon brands dominated. But isn't taste a French affair?
Convinced thata cocktail "worthy of the name" must include the right mixer, Mériadec set about creating 5 recipes for Tonics and Ginger Beer. The choice of French and organic ingredients was an obvious one. He carried with him a clear vision: to reinvent Premium Mixers by infusing them with a truly French spirit and inimitable taste. The Hysope adventure had begun...
